Who we are. Statement Converter (statementconverter.nl) is provided by Lekasoft, Vatternkade 56, 1060 PK Amsterdam, KvK 94041105, BTW NL005059701B93. Email: jimmyrogerssclaw@gmail.com.
Your bank statement. When you upload a PDF, we process it in memory only to convert it to Excel or CSV. The PDF is discarded right after conversion. Nothing from your statement is stored or logged, and we use it only to perform the conversion you asked for.
No accounts. You don't need an account, and we don't ask for your name or email to convert.
Free huishoudboekje. If you ask for the free huishoudboekje (household budget template), we store only your email address, with your consent. It is kept with our database provider Upstash until you unsubscribe via the unsubscribe link. We don't track you, and we don't share or sell your email address. Download links expire after 1 hour.
Free-conversion cookie. We set one functional cookie that remembers that this browser has used its free conversion. It contains no data from your statement. Name: sc_free_used. Lifetime: 365 days. For the same reason, after a free conversion we keep a keyed hash of your IP address with Upstash for 30 days, never the IP address itself.
Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how often pages are viewed. It uses no cookies for analytics and doesn't track you across other websites. We only see anonymous, aggregated statistics, such as page views, referring site, country, device type and browser. They aren't linked to you as a person or to your IP address. To count visits, Vercel creates a temporary hash from your request, which is automatically discarded after 24 hours. Processing is done by Vercel Inc. (USA) as our processor. Because we don't set or read cookies for analytics, our assessment is that no cookie banner is needed for it. This is our own view, not legal advice.
Google Ads cookies, only with your consent. To measure whether our Google Ads lead to purchases, we use the Google tag of Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited). It is only loaded after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner; before that, or if you click "Decline", nothing is sent to Google and no Google cookies are set. Your choice is stored in this browser (sc_cookie_consent) and you can change it via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page. After a purchase we only send Google the order value and the Stripe order reference.
Payments. Payments for conversions (such as the 10-pack) and for templates go through Stripe. Stripe processes your name, email address and payment details for this; your card or payment details never reach us. If you buy a template on Etsy, Etsy processes your order and payment under Etsy's privacy policy. For European accounts, our contracting party and processor is Stripe Payments Europe, Limited (Ireland). For its own purposes, such as fraud prevention and legal obligations, Stripe acts as an independent controller, with Stripe Technology Company, Limited (Ireland) as its main establishment in Europe. Transfers by Stripe to the US are covered by Stripe's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, with the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as a further mechanism. We keep payment records for 7 years, as required by Dutch tax rules. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to its processing.
Hosting and transfers. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). Data transferred to the US is protected by Vercel's data processing agreement (DPA), Vercel's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
Your rights. You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Contact: jimmyrogerssclaw@gmail.com.
