Turn a bunq PDF statement into CSV
bunq lets you export statements in different formats, but plenty of people end up with just the PDF. Maybe you saved it for your records, received it from someone else or exported the wrong format months ago. Statement Converter turns a bunq PDF statement into a CSV or Excel file without retyping a single line.
How it works
- Bring your statement. Use a bunq statement saved as a PDF with selectable text.
- Upload it. One PDF at a time, up to 4 MB and 50 pages.
- Check the numbers. All transactions appear in an editable table. The balance check compares them with the statement balance and flags any difference down to the cent.
- Export. Download as a Dutch-format CSV or as XLSX for Excel.
When the PDF is all you have
Accountants and tax advisers often ask for official statements, and the PDF is what gets archived. When you later need the same data in a spreadsheet, for bookkeeping, a budget review or a mortgage application, converting the PDF is far faster than starting over. And because the result is checked against the balance, you know nothing went missing.
Categories in one click
With Suggest categories, each transaction gets a proposed category based on simple keyword matching. Edit them in the table, then export. A good starting point if you want to see where your money goes across your bunq accounts.
Your numbers stay yours
Your PDF is processed in memory and discarded right after conversion. Nothing from your statement is stored or logged. There are no accounts; a cookie only remembers that your browser has used its free conversion.
Limits to know
- Text-based PDFs only. Scanned or photographed statements need OCR, which isn't supported yet.
- The CSV uses Dutch formatting. Pick XLSX if you'd rather open the file straight in Excel.
Banking elsewhere too? Statement Converter also supports ING, Rabobank, ABN AMRO and Revolut (EUR).
